History

The Hanna Project is an NGO that serves to bring help, hope, and healing around the world. The Hanna Project is so named to honor Brother Carlisle and Sister Marie Hanna, who served the people of India for over 70 years. Throughout their lives they clearly demonstrated compassion for the needy. Brother Hanna’s efforts brought new breeds of cattle and chickens into that region, introduced wheat to the northern parts of India, created hospice care for young men, and numerous other developmental projects. Their unbiased compassion and selfless acts of kindness touched the lives of the Indian people for decades. Their lives have, and continue to, serve as an inspiration and example to those serving with The Hanna Project around the world.
