A group of 17 men and women formed the 2015 THP Japan Team. This group of volunteers from Georgia, Missouri, North Carolina, and Tennessee focused their efforts in the Bihoro community on the northern island of Hokkaido.

The team spent 10 days refurbishing, repairing, and remodeling a building used for community gatherings as well as an upstairs apartment. After demolishing some walls, they installed sheetrock, replaced stud walls, laid new flooring, removed mold from windows, and more.

Team members enjoyed Japanese cuisine and toured the countryside near them. This area of Japan is more rural, comprised of small communities and farmlands.
