Troy Ellens earned his Bachelor of Arts majoring in Biology at Dordt University, Sioux Center, IA before moving to Chicago where he earned a Masters in Respiratory Therapy at Rush University Medical Center. He now works at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center where he worked four years in the pediatric ICU as a therapist. He loves being outdoors, interacting with new people, working with kids, and learning new things. Troy hopes that his experience in healthcare and in pre-cast concrete construction will enable him to serve and love his neighbor well during his time in Ecuador.
